A more neutral POV is needed
editIt is apparent that the first paragraph of this person who has recently died is written in celebratory style. It has been that way since August 20, 2008 when a deleted user "added significant details about Jellicoe's important career" (cit.)... Can please someone who is familiar with the subject rewrite it in a more neutral way? Thanks 82.50.35.5 (talk) 22:51, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
Community Plays?
editDoes this mean plays that were only produced locally, or plots that were set in a particular locality? Valetude (talk) 22:56, 18 January 2020 (UTC)
Suggested new lede 22/9/21
editToday I supplied a new lede, as I considered that the old one was not doing its job, which is to summarise the main points of the article.
I inserted a mention and short definition of the dramatist’s best-known play, and deleted a vague statement about her contribution to the art of theatre (which was not represented in the article), replacing it with a couple of examples of specific areas in which her experiments were made.
Christian230102 promptly reverted this, with the magisterial comment ‘Not needed’. I would have thought that a comment or two on this Talk Page might have been more appropriate. Valetude (talk) 18:17, 22 September 2021 (UTC)
