An, not Anna
editShe is known as "An Rutgers van der Loeff". Perhaps her first name was changed to Anna in English-speaking countries? I can't say that for sure, but her original used first name is "An", short for her full given name Anneke. -andy 77.7.9.104 (talk) 22:11, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
- I can't find any references to "Anneke" for her. The "The Oxford Companion to Children's Literature" calls her Anna, An for short. Peter Flass (talk) 15:49, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
