editI have deleted the claim that Annabel Croft was the youngest ever player to have plaayed at Wimbledon at 15, Jennifer Capriati played in the Ladies Singles in 1990 when she was 14 years and 90 days old. (Source Wimbledon site[1])— Preceding unsigned comment added by Toddy1 (talk • contribs) 13:01, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
I do not believe that Croft ever held the youngest competitor record, so it doesn't matter much, but the argument above is hopelessly flawed. Capriati did not appear at Wimbledon until after Croft had retired, so she could not possibly have prevented Croft holding the record. When you break a record, you do not erase the fact that someone held it before you. Grubstreet (talk) 07:59, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Errors in article?
editThe article diffs in at least two facts contrary to the already referenced pdf http://www.celebritytennis.co.uk/Croft%20Bio.pdf :
- Article : Fed Cup in 1985 and 1986 / PDF : Federation Cup from 1985-1987
- Article : Highest ranking 24 (just in infobox, in article it is 21) / PDF : highest world singles ranking of 21

---Place of birth --- The main text of the article states Croft was born in Farnborough, Hampshire, whilst the summary pane on the right states she was born in Farnborough, Kent. Which is correct?
