Wheelchair using vs wheelchair-bound
editThe article history indicates that the change from "has been wheelchair-bound" to "has used a wheelchair" has been made and reverted before. "Wheelchair-bound" is considered derogatory; see List of disability-related terms with negative connotations for an explanation why. Please don't revert this change again. Aecamadi (talk) 08:16, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- You have to have something other than your opinion that this is derogatory. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 04:21, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

Anne Dunham (equestrian) → Anne Patricia Dunham – Titles in parenthesis aren't really needed when we have a confirmed middle name. It is more technically accurate. Ranze (talk) 17:53, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose; the parenthetical is more informative and thus more useful as a disambiguator in situations where the middle name is not widely used. Powers T 18:52, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose as LtPowers. In ictu oculi (talk) 02:50, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose. We only use middle names if they are commonly used by the individual. In this case it is not. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:16, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose should be Anne Dunham, which was redirected to another article as a misspelling before this article was created. Peter James (talk) 23:06, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
