Is she best known as "Lady Anne" historically? It appears that she was not the daughter of a peer, let alone daughter of a duke, marquess or earl -- the three upper ranks of the peerage whose daughters were entitled to the style, "Lady Firstname Lastname". Even if her husband were a peer, she would have been "Lady Farquharson-MacKintosh". And is it historically accurate that she was known by the double surname "Farquharson-MacKintosh"? Why wasn't she known by her husband's surname, especially inasmuch as he was a clan chief? FactStraight (talk) 01:42, 4 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Surely she was Anne MacKintosh? Kittybrewster 09:37, 4 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Her year of death is given as 1784 at the top of the article and as 1787 at the end. Which is it? Knobkerrie (talk) 00:12, 16 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
