Birth on May 16, 1880 is confirmed by the endnotes in Notable American Women, cited in article. That source notes they confirmed the date with the General Register office in London, and with her baptismal record from St Austin's Presbytery, Wakefield. Furthermore her younger sister, Mabel, was born Sept 1 1882 in Holyoke, Mass, so Anne could not have been born in 1882. The source of the 1882 error seems to be the Times obituary, which said she was 72 in 1954, but that was an understandable error in the haste to publish the day after her death.Numbersinstitute (talk) 23:49, 3 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
