I have tagged this article for notability. At this point, we have two major-seeming sources: a Newsweek piece where she gets a passing mention in a single sentence, and a Politico piece written by her then-husband and thus not independent. This doesn't add up to what's called for in WP:NBIO; if better sources can be found, I suggest adding them. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 01:31, 24 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
I can try to find sources. She's certainly only of the most famous/infamous people in the "ex-gay" movement. She's been on TV shows like The 700 Club, Daystar, etc. It's also been noted that her now ex-husband left the ex-gay movement and become ex-ex-gay. There was also some controversy a few years ago when one of her books was removed from Amazon Entheta (talk) 00:16, 3 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
John has his own article with much better sourcing, and his notability does not automatically confer to her. If she's been on shows talking mainly about herself, that's one thing (although I don't know how much weight we give such things as The 700 Clubin being a reliable source.) If rather she's there primarily as an expert on ex-gaiety, that means less, because we are looking for sources about the article subject, not sources by the subject, to confer notability. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 00:31, 3 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
