Painting of Countess Noailles

edit

A highly realistic depiction of Countess of Noailles at the age of 70.[discuss]

Because she was executed at the age of 65, I do not see how this could be her on the painting. The work has it written on it that the painting depicts her at the age of 70. Maybe this is not Comtesse De Noilles and someone was mistaken to upload it. The portrait says "La Marechale de Noailles" which may be a clue that this is not Comtesse de Noialles, unless she had that title as well. If there is anyone more familiar with the French noble titles, any input will be appreciated.--ComtesseDeMingrélie 14:33, 4 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Never mind, it says decapitate at the age of 70, not depicted. While this solved the identity problem, now we have a problem with her age at the time of death. 5 year discrepancy between the painting date and the provided article date.--ComtesseDeMingrélie 14:37, 4 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
She's Catherine Françoise Charlotte de Cossé-Brissac (1724-1794), maréchale de Noailles, wife of "Maréchal de Noailles" (Louis de Noailles)--90.59.83.181 (talk) 10:43, 28 April 2012 (UTC) (fr:Utilisateur:Jimmy44)Reply
