I have read the various Wikipedia articles on submitting an article on a living notable, and am up to my 26th draft, confused and defeated. I understand the principles of verifiability, and completely agree with that rule. It is interesting that when I do research on other living notables, some of those articles do not verify each and every claim or provide a reference for aspects of their life. e.g. Dates of birth are not always backed up by a birth certificate, and there may be no reference provided. None-the-less, I would be abundently grateful for help. Billyboybliss (talk) 13:20, 26 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
I think the difficulty here is the lack of sources writing about Gough, as opposed to those by her. I have added an interview, though interviews do not count towards notability and are primary sources rather than secondary. I have pinged the Talk page of Women in Red so hopefully someone there will be able to offer more substantial help and advice. Thanks for your work on this. @Billyboybliss You appear to have included information, such as her birth surname Wilkinson, which does not seem to be in any of the published sources you have used. Please be careful to supply reliable published sources for everything you add to an article, especially one about a living person. Adding this information without a source suggests that perhaps you know Gough personally: if you are she, or a friend, colleague, family member etc, then you are strongly discouraged from working on this article because you have a "Conflict of Interest". Please read WP:Conflict of Interest. Thanks. PamD07:17, 27 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
