GAN Review
editWow, this is most comprehensively referenced articles I've seen; that must have taken a ton of work, and I'm very impressed. Unfortunately, in other areas it doesn't yet meet the good article standard. I find it goes into a fair bit of unnecessary detail: it's not necessary to state every play Russell appeared in and every bout of illness she experienced. Try to pick those that are most notable and emphasise them—perhaps organise her less notable performances into a simple table, of which a good example is here: Wikipedia:WikiProject_Actors_and_Filmmakers#Filmography.
I also think more information needs to be given to support her notability. The article says Esmerelda was her most popular performance, but not how popular it was. Was she a household name at that time, the equivalent of an A-list actor today?
Those are my main concerns. If you have any questions or would like feedback on any improvements, feel free to ask on my talk page.--jwandersTalk 08:52, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
A Source of Concern
editI notice that the year dates given for the birth and death of the prominent actress Annie Russell, 1864 and 1936, and the year dates given elsewhere for the birth and death of the prolific author Annie Russell Marble, strangely coincide. Is is possible that Annie Russell and Annie Russell Marble were born in the same year, and died in the same year? Is it possible that these two persons are the same person, without and with a husband's name tacked on? Please let me know your opinion at kouroo@brown.edu. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.148.216.163 (talk) 18:11, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
