Suicide Incidence
editContributors have been back and forth on the topic heading language "suicide epidemic" vs., e.g., "suicide history." I changed it to read 'suicide contagion' which is the exact language of the source material. The two words have somewhat different meanings and connotations. Contagion means something that is spreading from person to person and/or is spreading rapidly. Epidemic means disproportionally affecting a large number of people and/or excessively prevalent and/or contagious and/or representing rapid growth. The common meaning between the two is contagion/contagious (and rapid growth which in this context is synonymous), and since that is the language of the source material it should not be objectionable. "History" does not carry the same connotations and in lay (non-medical) terminology may misrepresent something as having occurred in the past rather than recently.
