Puzzling headings

edit

The terms "Active bibliography" and "Passive bibliography" are rather odd. The former gets lots of google hits, but most of them have nothing to do with the way it is being used here, and the latter gets just 31, most of which look like (mis)translations from Spanish and Portuguese sites. I was going to add the same point, what is the difference? Is it supposed to be ghost written, under a pseudonym, as a co-writer, or what? --86.128.252.182 23:17, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
"Active bibliography" means list of works by a certain author ; "passive bibliography" means list of works about that author and/or his works by other authors.--Orlando F 18:18, 13 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
These terms are not commonly used in English, so they should be removed from this article. Osomec 22:26, 21 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notes on textual variation in As Canções: in the many editions of The Songs, António Botto corrected, extended, edited and even omitted some of the poems. Has anyone notice these textual variations? For instance, one version of the opening poem ("Beijomo-nos apenas") to As Canções", the adjective "melhor" is omitted, changing the tone of the poem. It would be interesting to see a study of the textual variation on Botto's poems and its implications on meaning and aesthetic. Novus.lector (talk) 19:46, 20 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
