Move
editMy three neuroanatomy texts/atlases (Haines, Netter, Kiernan) all use anterior/ventral corticospinal tract instead of direct pyramidal tract, and Google returns only 93 results for "direct pyramidal tract". The anterior cerebrospinal fasciculus appears to be a remnant from Gray's; it too fares poorly on Google. I propose a move to ventral corticospinal tract. Likewise, our article on the crossed tract should reside at lateral corticospinal tract. Thoughts before I make the switch? --David Iberri (talk) 23:42, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
- I'm the original author, and I have no objection to a move. However, the Terminologia anatomica (per Dorlands) is "t. corticospinalis anterior", so "anterior corticospinal tract" might be better (Google yields a near tie, with 309 for "anterior corticospinal tract" and 308 for "ventral corticospinal tract"). --Arcadian 00:59, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
- Good point -- I'm moving it to anterior corticospinal tract now. --David Iberri (talk) 14:50, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
Reference gives a 404?
editThis is currently given as reference 1 on this page, and it is giving me a 404. Berthold, Daniel Goude, C.-H. "Pyramidbanans främre okorsade del - Tractus cortico-spinalis anterior - Människans nervsystem: Uppslagsverk". nervsystemet.se. 71.62.135.172 (talk) 02:27, 18 April 2024 (UTC)
