Is this claim true? in eusocial apids (Bombus and Apis, e.g.) males are bigger than typical workers

The males are much larger (ca. 18 mm) than the females (ca.12 mm) which is not uncommon among Megachilidae, but very rare among other bee families (e.g., the true honey bees, genus Apis).

Add information about distribution and range

Hard to tell where A. manicatum is native to (though introduction is well covered). Would be great to add more about the distribution of Anthidium spp. c.f. https://doi.org/10.1111/zoj.12017 for the Americas
