Some of the opinions stated on these pages may cause offence?

This sentence is not content, and this is not the place for it. It may be applied to all wikipedia articles, and in fact to any written article, depending on what you may be offended by, including the views of the person written about ... I could go on. The only possible place would be in the introduction to an encyclopedia.

I intend to remove it soon - it looks out of place in any encyclopedia article I can imagine.

Whoever put it there, or anyone who feels like it, please can you either provide some rationale, or agree with me?

I have looked for a precedent in Wikipedia for the statement "Some of the opinions stated on these pages may cause offence" or one of similar meaning and been unable to find one. P0mbal (talk) 00:33, 23 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Boas and James as influences

I cannot find any justification for the above two to be listed as 'influences', I propose they are removed.

Was the Ludovico Technique named after him?
