Merge with Anthropogenic

The Anthropization and Anthropogenic articles discuss the same topic: the influence of humans on the natural world. Because article titles are supposed to be nouns, not adjectives, Anthropogenic should be merged here. Neelix (talk) 19:52, 18 December 2010 (UTC)

Nope. They're fundamentally different terms: "anthropization" is used overwhelmingly in the context of alteration of the surface (vegetation, soils, etc.) in terms of its ecological effects, while "anthropogenic" is a much broader term meaning roughly "produced by humans." On the contrary, Boris. "Anthropogenic" has a major usage as "any human produced pollution", see my comments at [Climate Change denial]. I can't find much data on the word "anthropization", but it seems to mean "the anthropogenic process (in the sense of pollution)". Etymologically there is no reason to limit the meaning of "anthropization". I don't see any reason to believe that the word "anthropization" should only be used within the context of geology and phytology.
