editHi @Bernadine okoro: I wanted to discuss why you changed the sentence back to "despite not being the first largest ethnic group". First and largest both specify one specific thing so using them both sounds weird. Another possible compromise might be 'first large ethnic group' or even "first major ethnic group". - Hello @Moritoriko:, I hadn’t realized I switched it back since I was much more focused on the blockquote. I initially mentioned "first" to clarify that although the Igbo weren’t the first major ethnic group within Nigeria’s three major tribes to receive Western education, they excelled once they did, eventually dominating the colonial job market which led to resentment. I agree that "Despite not being the first major ethnic group..." is a more accurate phrasing. Thank you very much for the feedback! Bernadine okoro (talk) 23:30, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
