I think it's about ready to pass. I have only a couple of minor suggestions/questions:
1a - On the whole the writing is quite good. I see one small improvement - can this sentence in the Background and Recording section be reworded so it doesn't end with "of" : "the four-track recorder, which had been used to produce many of the band's early demos, had been microwaved, and his drum machine had been disposed of."
- Changed to "...and his drum machine had been discarded." Homeostasis07 (talk) 20:25, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
- This works.

2b - regarding specific WP:RS
- is it possible to replace Rate Your Music? I think this would be considered user-generated content? I can't find any clear discussion about it at RS/n so if it is possible to replace it with a source that has editorial oversight, I think this would be better.
- Replaced this source with a cite journal one. Unfortunately the issue is no longer available for sale at Classic Rock's website, so I can't include a URL. Couldn't find a non-UGC source. Homeostasis07 (talk) 20:25, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
- Stereogum is used for the description of the album as "industrial metal" — I would say this is a pretty significant statement for this article. It is the genre classification for the entire album. I'm not sure that Stereogum as a music blog, would be the ideal source for this. THere is also an additional problem, I can not find the term "industrial metal" within the source provided.
- The Stereogum source says: "Truly, Manson has only produced two albums of note: the ubiquitous industrial-metal rock opera Antichrist Superstar and its polished, glam-and-electronic-influenced successor, Mechanical Animals." I've also added an additional source from Loudwire, saying: "The most significant aspect of [Portrait of an American Family] was it solidified Manson's relationship with Reznor, which allowed the pair to record one of the best and most influential industrial metal albums, Antichrist Superstar, two years later." Both sources are on the article now. Would it be better to remove the Stereogum source entirely? Homeostasis07 (talk) 20:25, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you for adding the extra source, I was able to find "industrial-metal" in the Sterogum source. While we don't usually use blogs as WP:RS, I think since it is published by a major publisher (Spin Media) it is not a problem to leave it in, especially with a secondary source supporting the genre classification.

- There is a SputnikNews source that links to a youtube video for Apple of Sodom. The channel is Joseph Cultice, but I don't think this is verified, and it is not an official channel like VEVO. Can you please explain the copyright status of this video, so we can be sure it is not copyrighted and that this account is licensed to make this video available on YouTube?
- Removed the Sputnikmusic source entirely. Replaced it with this: "A video for ["Apple of Sodom"] was actually shot after it was recorded in 1996, but never aired on MTV due to its nudity and general cheapness (Manson's words, not ours). It finally emerged in 2009, when director Joseph Cultice uploaded it to YouTube." Would that suffice?

- Yes, I think AV Club is an improvement.
- Thanks a lot for the review, @Seraphim System: I figured it'd be November before this was reviewed. I think I've taken care of all your points above. Let me know if there's anything else, or if you think there's a problem with any of the changes I've made. Thanks again. Homeostasis07 (talk) 20:25, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
