Notability

edit

As an unreleased album, this article fails WP:MUSIC as it does not show substantial coverage in reliable sources. - Mdsummermsw (talk) 17:11, 7 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's out now...guess that's a fail on it failing then? 58.106.144.52 (talk) 08:08, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Lol at questioning the notability of Australias most hyped album of 2008. JayKeaton (talk) 04:28, 13 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Actually, [http://www.amazon.com/Apocalypso-Rita-Calypso/dp/B0000DJW3Z/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1217110600&sr=8-2 an album of the same name] was released also by Rita Calypso in 2003. --Oop (talk) 22:18, 26 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Incorrect tracklisting for remix disc?

edit

I have the 2CD booklet edition of Apocalypso, and comparing the tracklists on Wikipedia to the actual pressing reveals an entirely different set of tracks. Does anyone have any idea where the other tracklist came from? It's missing a source. I'm convinced there might be different pressings? The edition I have is from Australia:

1) This Boy's In Love [Zombie Nation Remix]
2) Kicking & Screaming [Bang Gang's E Is For Edit]
3) If I Know You [Tom Middleton Remix]
4) This Boy's In Love [Kevin Saunderson Remix]
5) Talk Like That [Dave Spoon Televized Mix]
6) My People [Mouse On Mars Terror Pretzels Remix]
7) If I Know You [Heartbreak Remix]
8) I Go Hard, I Go Home [DJ Hell Remix]
9) Talk Like That [CFCF Remix]
10) If I Know You [Tania & Jori Version]

Start class:
  •  Y A reasonably complete infobox
  •  Y A lead section giving an overview of the album
  •  Y A track listing
  •  Y Reference to at least primary personnel by name (must specify performers on the current album; a band navbox is insufficient)
  •  Y Categorisation at least by artist and year

C class:

  •  Y All the start class criteria
  •  Y A reasonably complete infobox, including cover art
  •  Y At least one other section of prose (in addition to the lead section)
  •  Y A track listing containing track lengths and authors for all songs
  •  Y A "personnel" section listing performers, including guest musicians.
  •  Y Independent in-line references supporting major/controversial claims

B class:

  •  Y All the C class criteria
  •  Y A completed infobox, including cover art and most technical details
  •  Y A full list of personnel, including technical personnel and guest musicians
  •  N No obvious issues with sourcing, including the use of blatantly improper sources.
  •  N No significant issues exist to hamper readability, although it may not rigorously follow WP:MOS
Very close to B class, needs: (i) songwriters should be referenced by APRA search engine (or equivalent) and written as (Justin Hamilton, Kim Moyes) not just as The Presets,
(ii) track time for last track? deluxe edn should have brief mention in main text,
(iii) update sales/certification: the album is now Platinum; also use ARIA accreditation as reference not "i_have_ADD" (aka Tim Hardaker) sounds like a blogger,
(iii) "the duo" a casual reader may not known who they actually are: spell it out in the Lead (including instrumentality) and then again in the "Production" section, after first mention, you can then call them the duo/band/group etc,
(iv) some production details from the main text could be added to the infobox.
Could also include (v) a table showing peak charting (did it chart ex-Australia?) for the album and (vi) another for the singles.Shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 22:20, 29 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
