Phrasing issue
editRight from the first line, the Pali Canon was the first to formally "close," but not the first material written down. There are Sanskrit and Gandhari texts and text-fragments that predate the finalization of the Pali Canon.
You could say that the Pali Canon is a record of the earliest teachings, but you could not say that it's the earliest record of teachings. LosangKunphen (talk) 17:44, 19 August 2015 (UTC)
duplicate entry
editThis entry is the same as the entry "Apramada"(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apramada). They both refer to the same concept, one in Pali, one in Sanskrit. They can be combined into one entry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.74.19.169 (talk) 05:01, 24 February 2018 (UTC)
Content is very similar, same term. Farang Rak Tham (Talk) 14:47, 9 May 2018 (UTC)
