Canadian-Swiss
editRegarding Zarley Zalapski - the only connection with Switzerland is that he became a Swiss citizen through marriage in 2006. I think that if we said he was, say, Italian-Canadian we would be saying that he is a Canadian from Italy or of Italian descent. So calling him "Canadian-Swiss" implies that his primary identity is Swiss, but he is from Canada or of Canadian descent, which doesn't seem to be true. He is a Canadian, with no Swiss descent or parentage. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 17:17, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
1930 London Naval Treaty missing nations?
editRight now, the line says:
"1930 – The United Kingdom, Japan and the United States sign the London Naval Treaty regulating submarine warfare and limiting shipbuilding."
France and Italy were also signatories of the treaty, so why aren't they mentioned here? Or did they sign the treaty on a different date? The Wikipedia entry on the treaty makes no such reference. 2A02:AB88:1A8A:E780:B1A3:B12E:A8F1:73C (talk) 20:44, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
