Round
editIn giving a definition the article says "(from 'apskritas' meaning 'round')", but which round is it?
- adj. circular
- n. a regular customary course or circuit
- n. a period of activity such as a round of golf or a boxing round
- prep. in the vicinity of
All four of these make sense in context and my knowledge of Lithuanian is non-existant so I can't judge which it is. However, if the derivation is from the sense "a regular customary course or circuit", it would seem to me that the English word "circuit" would be an appropriate translation.
