External links modified
Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Delphi Automotive. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20081224155449/http://www.rtknet.org:80/new/tox100/toxic100.php?company1=6833&chemfac=chem&advbasic=bas to http://www.rtknet.org/new/tox100/toxic100.php?company1=6833&chemfac=chem&advbasic=bas
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Which parts are written like an advertisement?
Hi authors & Melcous (talk · contribs)
There was recently a tag added to the Aptiv page noting that some sections were written like an advertisement. Would someone be able to provide more context about the specific sections in question? From there, I will propose content changes that are more objective / factual.
Thank you!

- Hi Justin, the whole lead section reads to me like something the company would write about itself (and is in fact sourced to the company's own documents). An encyclopedia article should use neutral language sourced to what independent, reliable sources have said about the company, not what they say about themselves. Within the article, the dot point lists read again like marketing copy, even just by virtue of that format, as well as things like repeated references to "announcements" by the company, which again reflect the kind of sources that are the company advertising what it is doing rather than what is being written about it by secondary sources. The whole "Operations" section is another example of fairly blatantly advertising-type language. Cheers, Melcous (talk) 14:43, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
- Also, I believe WP:NOTDIRECTORY is germane here. The guidelines state that lists of
"CEOs, supervisory directors and similar top functionaries"
is acceptable. The editor claims they are "key" positions, but the only reference supporting that distinction is the company itself and a vanity profile on Bloomberg. The list above seems inordinately long, so at a minimum, additional third party sourcing showing this keyness should be shown. Spintendo ᔦᔭ 21:42, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
