File:Aquad1.JPG Nominated for speedy Deletion

edit
An image used in this article, File:Aquad1.JPG, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

To take part in any discussion, or to review a more detailed deletion rationale please visit the relevant image page (File:Aquad1.JPG)

This article appears to be written like an advertisement

Aquad is a software to analyze qualitative data. It is a CAQDAS. The author is a university professor and not a company. The information is objective. What could we say about a software?

 1 Author
 2 Description
 3 Possibilities
   3.1 Presentation of data
   3.2 Situation of data
3.3 Comparison of cases/files by Boolean analysis
 4 Versions

I think that softwares - as proprietary as free ones - should have articles. I am only user. I have tried to describe it without valuations nor inviting to use or to buy it. I think that it is an objective approach. Tell me which contents should be changed. --Tfeliz (talk) 21:17, 19 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Free software?

edit

This and the Aquad website claim that the software is FLOSS, available under the GPL license; however the source code does not seem to be available. It might be an omission or a technical problem (the website appears in poor shape, whole forum is 404), but is this open? --Remram44 (talk) 02:24, 12 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

As you can check in the website, the software is totally free. Best regards. Tiberio Feliz 08:38, 22 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
