A few things translated from the Japanese wiki article

I'm rather new to this, and since this is a new anime I want to do this right(rather than just dumping translated info on Trider G7 or Gowappā 5 Godam pages like I did before). I translated a bunch of neat info from the Japanese wikipedia article's "outline" section, but I have no idea where it should go, and it's not sourced, either. Here is the translation/revision(the character designers' names may be off):

Story

The ever-present theme of love feature in the original Aquarion has been reworked in this sequel, with a prohibition on love enacted upon the main characters on Earth near the beginning of the story. While this restriction is in effect, the viewer can see how relationships between male and female characters progress from infatuation to real love. Other than this, a story accented with a theme of the "restriction of combination (of their machines) of boys and girls" as well as plans for the reincarnated versions of characters from 12,000 years ago(that is, from the original Aquarion anime) have been stated as the original goals by the director, Kawamori. In addition to the theme of love, carrying on from the original Aquarion, mutual understanding between those with differing viewpoints and birthplaces, the individual growth of the characters and their overcoming of their own weaknesses, and the relationship between destiny and free will, as well as themes from Kawamori's personal views and religious views are all vital to the story as a whole.

Staff points

Centered around Kawamori, many members from the staff of the previous anime worked on this one, but as a result of Kawamori's goal to "create a work that people can enjoy without having seen the original", the direction and series composition were reworked. In addition, the main character designs were split between male designs(Chinatsu Kurahana) and female designs(Ishida Kana).

I could just go put this in, but like I said, none of this is cited. I'm sure this info was in magazine(the Japanese article even lists them here: http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%82%A2%E3%82%AF%E3%82%A8%E3%83%AA%E3%82%AA%E3%83%B3EVOL#.E9.9B.91.E8.AA.8C), but nothing is directly cited.
