Remarks
edit- This Aquila is not the same as Aquila Ponticus which was a Jew converted to Christianity!
- In Hebrew: עקילס (= Aquiles). not עקילם (= aquilem) as written here.
- Good catch I suppose; reference to Ponticus removed. -- Kendrick7talk 07:45, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Robot keeps adding wrong linking!
editRobot keeps linking this page to Russian and Ukraine articles about totally a different person with the same name! What should we do about it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Trikita (talk • contribs) 09:31, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
WP:ERA
editPer WP:ERA, this page should maintain the use of AD/BC. AD precedes rather than follows a date and is not used for centuries (1st century BCE = 1st century BC; 1st century CE = 1st century). When used as an adjective, kindly remember to hyphenate the date (1st-century XYZ). — LlywelynII 15:38, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
why?
editIf Aquila and Onkelos are the same person, why are there two separate articles, one on each? Also see this: http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/judaica/ejud_0002_0015_0_15112.html 71.163.117.143 (talk) 20:47, 10 July 2014 (UTC)
