English Articles/References
edit- Please post any English references about Arashi so we can add to the article. I've noticed some references have broken links.
- (Significant)News articles on Arashi in Japanese are also welcome
Tofu-chan (talk) 04:09, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up. I found an alternate link for one of the broken ones. Basically the same, so I inserted it there instead. The following links can also be used in this article, but its mostly about Matsumoto. I don't have the time to do it yet, though,
as I am currently working on Arashi's Tagalog wiki entry (help? any Pinoys out there?).(I've also added this to the top of the talk page)
Luckyman88 (talk) 05:43, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for locating the alternative links. I'm planning to update Nino's page and facing the same problem with old broken links. I was thinking about creating a D no Arashi page too, complete with the episode listing. Good luck with the Tagalog page! The links for Jun page

Discography
edit- I have removed fair-use images from some albums in the gallery. Please do not re-insert them as they are in their specific album pages.
- Any help with regards to single and album covers are welcome.
- I suggest that the discography should be kept at the main Arashi page while the page is not expanded yet.
- Anyone planning to put a videography or concert section, please do not place links unless there is an page for it OR you are willing to start it.
Luckyman88 06:49, 28 May 2007 (UTC) -
- regarding the concert section, I would like to insert the infos only without the videos, is that okay? Denise Dinc (talk) 11:22, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
- Do you mean without DVD release? I think if its listed in Arashigoto its ok. Thanks for expanding it up a bit. Maybe I'll be motivated to do more for Arashi with someone else around. Tofu-chan (talk) 13:08, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
- I'm inserting the infos based on the Big Wave Photobook, I guess it's more or less the same with Arashigoto^^ Denise Dinc (talk) 08:05, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
NTV's Annual Charity Program, 24 Hour TV Appearance
edit- I've included it in the Event category as it marks an important event for Arashi (appearing for 24hrs almost non-stop, working with the disabled, Aiba Masaki reading his letter of gratitude towards ARASHI, etc). It also has been included in many news report regarding the Arashi members. Aiba "historic" letter reading was included in the exclusive song release "Sketch" (composed by Ninomiya & Sakurai) and Aiba's introduction in "La Tormenta" (Members intoduction song usually performed in concerts. Included in all concert DVD that have been released.) Considering its importance in Arashidom, I think it should be included in the article. The reference is from Japanese Wikipedia as of now. NTV's official 24hr TV website is included in the wiki page for further verification.
Tofu-chan (talk) 03:54, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- I think all important events should be included in the main article, instead of the list, as there is a request for expansion. My suggestion is to keep it in the events part for now, since that list is not populated yet and consider its removal ONLY after its inclusion in the main article AND when the list is populated. Luckyman88 (talk) 09:03, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the feedback Luckyman88 :). I'm not too sure if the content of Aiba letter would be verifiable since its in Japanese and had been translated by fans only(not professional translation). However I've found a Singaporean newspaper that highlighted the event. Is it possible to use the show itself as point of reference? As for "Sketch", I'm not very clear on the distribution of the CD and where we should place it (along with "La Tormenta").Tofu-chan (talk) 02:30, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, Tofu-chan for the very late reply. I don't think the letter can be used either, but if you still have the article from the newspaper, that would be great. If we're going to use the show itself, then I don't think we can get too specific. Just what happened in general and what the letter basically said, and from who it was from. Again, very sorry. (Been quite busy, again, very sorry.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Luckyman88 (talk • contribs) 13:05, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

List of Arashi songs...
editI was wondering instead of making separate pages for La Tormenta and Sketch, maybe we could start an article for (noteworthy) Arashi songs? Not just the two songs, but for songs that the community considers as noteworthy despite the lack of single releases (e.g. Fight Song, although it was released, it was so in a limited capacity). I'm not so sure about what exactly the title will be, though. I'm not so familiar with Sketch myself, but can someone confirm that it was a very limited release? Also, the different versions of La Tormenta. Anyway, if you have any information, please post it here. Thanks! Luckyman88 (talk) 13:11, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- This sounds good. Sketch is indeed a limited release (only 100 copies were produced). I just gathered this from fans, so it's better if we have a link to a source. Re: La Tormenta - 3 versions (2001, Chapter II, and the 2004 version). Sakurasake (talk) 16:17, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, I probably won't start this anytime soon, but if anyone has enough info, then feel free to start it.Luckyman88 (talk) 12:28, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

editunder jun matsumoto; it states the following "Jun is one of the three idols who are considered elites in the Johnny's" but will someone kindly tell me who the other two elites are? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 143.254.192.234 (talk) 18:47, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sure Masahiro Nakai of SMAP is one of the elites. Nakai never went through the audition stage like Matsumoto. I think the other one is Higashiyama Noriyuki of Shōnentai. Three of them are considered elites because they were chosen right away by Kitagawa who is known to have an eye for foretelling star quality in a talent. Don't take my words as fact though. I have no verifiable references to confirm this but a lot of TV interviews did state Jun is considered as Johnny's elite. Tofu-chan (talk) 13:01, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

NPOV
editI have removed a lot of the NPOV from the members section. It was more like a fan page, than a serious article. 119.173.81.176 (talk) 13:12, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
