To editor Uanfala: as it stands, this is not a bad dab page altogether, and yet there are still some concerns. Disambiguation pages are navigation pages, so their purpose is to help readers navigate to a page they want to read. Most readers who will come to this page speak English, and that is why the guideline, WP:DAB#Interlanguage links, reads "Pure disambiguation pages should contain interlanguage links only where a similar problem of disambiguation exists in the target language; that is, they should refer to another disambiguation page, not to one of the many meanings from the list." So the ILLs will have to be erased. Another concern is the band's red link. Readers cannot navigate to a red link, so unless you intend to write an English article on the band and see if it meets notability standards, then it will have to be erased from this page.
As for the other two red links, according to the guideline at MOS:DABRED and MOS:DABMENTION, red links must have one blue-linked article that mentions the subject of the red link. One of those red links shows a blue-linked article that mentions the parish; however, the other red link shows a blue-linked article, Vilalba, that does not mention Arbol. Unless mention is made of the parish in that article, it should also be removed from this page. Pretty easy fixes, so this page does not warrant deletion as long as the fixes are made. • Well, there are blue links, it's just that they currently only go to the corresponding articles in other Wikipedias. That's not perfect – ideally, we would like to have those articles right here on the English Wikipedia, but while we still don't then that's the next best thing – may of our readers will likely know Spanish and those who don't can use automated translation off the web. I'm assuming, of course, that all the topics are notable – that's obvious for the parishes, but I haven't looked into the band in much detail so I won't vouch for it. I'm not terribly concerned whether the bluelinked enwiki article mentions the term or not – after all, a full article on another project is almost always a better deal than the bare mention in a list that we could try to link to from here.
The bit of WP:DAB#Interlanguage links that you quote refers to interwiki links that appear in the sidebar on the left (and that are currently handled on Wikidata) – the point of that passage is that Castle (disambiguation) should be pared with the French dab page with the exact same title: fr:Castle, not the one corresponding to that meaning in English: fr:Château (homonymie). Interlanguage links that are used as entries are another matter – I've recently brought up the wider issue for discussion, but while not everybody agrees with their inclusion, many people do. – Uanfala (talk) 22:32, 4 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
    • I don't think the ILLs are helpful on their own. If they are used in conjunction with blue links to articles on the English Wikipedia, then maybe, but not by themselves. This is the English version of this encyclopedia, after all. So the band entry as it is now is not helpful. P.I. Ellsworth  ed. put'r there 04:17, 5 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
    • Being the "next best thing" doesn't make it a good thing. In the absence of Wikipedia coverage, and article in an external reliable source would be the next best thing, but we don't put external links on disambiguation pages either. And interlanguage links are not the blue links referred to here, like external links are not the blue links disambiguation pages use. Disambiguation pages disambiguate existing Wikipedia ambiguity; they don't go looking elsewhere for other ambiguity. -- JHunterJ (talk) 12:13, 5 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
    • I disagree that the guideline that disallows ILLs refers to the left sidebar. Those links are controlled by Wikidata, and the ones I've seen on dab pages go to Wikidata pages that are for dab pages on more than one language Wikipedia. So the English Wikipedia guideline refers to ILLs that are within the entries on the dab page, as are depicted here on this page. Those ILLs should be removed. And now I see they have been removed. P.I. Ellsworth  ed. put'r there 16:36, 8 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
