Equipment?
editI think this article needs a section covering equipment & regulations concerning the equipment: bows & attached accessories (including sights, stabilizers, strings, arrow rests, clickers, plungers, risers, limbs, other?) arrows, quivers, protective gear, uniforms, targets, venue, wind indicators, monocular scopes, & optional equipment. I'm personally curious about what's required and what's allowed in Olympic archery equipment. Dcs002 (talk) 22:04, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
Records?
editI'm beginning to question the relevance of some the listed records because of the format changes. What relevance do the records have if that's not the format of the olympics anymore; if the records aren't meaningful or important because modern archers can't break a record in a non-existing format.Holdenpi (talk) 23:03, 13 August 2016 (UTC)
The only records that apply to the current format at the Olympics is the Individual ranking round of 72 arrow total score and the Total team ranking round score. And even then, they only use these scores to set the seeds for the tournament.
All other records are in old formats not used since they moved to set score single elimination for medals. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Holdenpi (talk • contribs) 03:59, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
