Public or Private School
editI think it might be fairly implied that this is a public school but it is never explicitly stated as it should be. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.19.140.32 (talk) 22:44, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

John Wayne Gacy
editI removed John Wayne Gacy from the notable alumni section. The inclusion of Ardsley, New York and Westchester County, New York in the John Wayne Gacy article were added as vandalism [2] by 62.44.17.49 (talk • contribs). This user was also the editor who added John Wayne Gacy to this article. --24fan24 (talk) 17:52, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
- Furthermore, I was unable to find any connection between John Wayne Gacy and Ardsley, New York through a Google or a newspaper database. --24fan24 (talk) 17:59, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
Peter Riegert, Mark Zuckerberg
editI added actor Peter Riegert, who graduated in 1964, to the notable alumni section. I edited Mark Zuckerberg, (CEO of Facebook) in this section to indicate that while Mr. Zuckerberg did in fact attend Ardsley High School for his first two years as a high school student he actually spent his final two years and graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy. I myself am an Ardlsey High School alumnus and can verify that the entries in this section are now correct.Taglman (talk) 22:33, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- Wikipedia requires articles to "rely on reliable, third-party published sources." Unfortunately, your testimony is not sufficient to verify this claim. I have removed these two alumni but please re add them if you can find a published source to cite. --24fan24 (talk) 00:40, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
I have added references that I believe will be sufficient and have re-added both Mr. Zuckerberg and Mr. Riegert to the the notable alumni section.Taglman (talk) 22:27, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- I am glad you could find sources for these alumni. Thank you. --24fan24 (talk) 23:11, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
Not a problem at all. I'm learning and want to make sure I do this correctly. You've taught me something new (ref tag) that I wasn't aware of before so I'm very greatful!Taglman (talk) 00:01, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
