editProposal for a DIRECTIVE OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL on the fight against fraud to the Union's financial interests by means of criminal law – Kaihsu (talk) 12:36, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
- The legal basis of this proposal is Article 325(4) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, hence it does not concern the provisions on the Area of freedom, security and justice. --Glentamara (talk) 15:29, 3 September 2012 (UTC)

editPresident von der Leyen: list of EU crimes
edit“As part of this, we will propose to extend the list of EU crimes to all forms of hate crime and hate speech – whether because of race, religion, gender or sexuality.”[1]
Also earlier: “I will propose to add violence against women on the list of EU crimes defined in the Treaty.”[2]

Up to date?
edit"While Ireland also applied to participate in the police and judicial cooperation provisions of the Schengen acquis in June 2000,[28] and were approved by a Council Decision in 2002,[31] this has not been implemented.[32]"
I'm not an expert on the specifics of AFSD, but is this still accurate in the light of Ireland joining the Schengen Information System? https://eucrim.eu/news/ireland-now-connected-to-schengen-information-system/ JasminLovesTheOcean (talk) 20:10, 7 June 2021 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Area of freedom, security and justice
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Area of freedom, security and justice's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 19:18, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
