Arex's Race

edit

According to FASA RPG, the race is called Edoans. 81.76.48.80 18:48, 22 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sadly, the FASA stuff isn't necessarily canon; much of it has, in fact, been contradicted by canon. --Joe Sewell (talk) 17:58, 23 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
The whole animated series (including the character of Arex) isn't canon, so I doubt canon will ever contradict anything about Arex. SAJordan talkcontribs 02:43, 15 Nov 2006 (UTC).

A picture

edit

I could copy a picture of Arex from a Trek web page and learn how to put it here, but I haven't figured out whether policy would allow it. Scott Haley 23:48, 10 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Could you at least post a link to that image?--Will 05:19, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Rambling Suggestions And Thoughts

edit

1) Arex is the focus of a short story in one of those Trek short story collections written by the fans. It deals with the repercussions among his family of him missing for so very long. I think this should be noted, volume and author and such.

2) More should be noted about his DC comics and New Frontier positions (I'd note them but like in 1, I don't have the stories with me). For example, in the comics, he is one of the few unaffected when a telapthic crewmember has a breakdown and threatens the entire ship. In the novels, he not only re-bonds with M'Ress but helps her when she is accused of murdering a fellow officer...who happens to be the beloved represenative of a powerful, dangerous race. Notable issues

edit
  • The lead section needs to be cleaned up and expanded. (It has a trivia fact as the final sentence.)
  • There needs to be more real-world context of this character.
  • The article needs more information about the character's major plot points or story, instead of a big list of appearances.
