Mrs McGinty's Dead
editThis might be worth bringing up. In the novel, Mrs. Oliver is having her character adapted to a play. The playwright changes the 60 year old finnish Sven Hjerson, into a 35 year old Norweigan resistence fighter, who parashoots in. The playwright insists that they need sexual tension between Hjerson and a female character (despite Oliver's protests that Sven Hjerson has never cared for women). It's clearly inspired by her own experiences with adaptations of her own work. For example Alibi, where Poirot became French, played by Charles Laughton (then in his late 20's) and is in love with the female character, Caryl.Coq87rouge (talk) 17:49, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
What car does Mrs Oliver drive?
editI was watching "cards on the table" and wondered what the old blue sports car was that Mrs Oliver drives.
At first look, it appears to be a Bugatti, but there are no badges that indicate this and it is difficult to tell from the shots in the movie.
I don't have the book so can't look it up to see if it is des ribbed in the book.
Maybe worth adding into the main wiki page once established! Dbridge276 (talk) 10:13, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
