Removed misinformation from article
editSR-153 does not actually junction with the Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway, as it's terminus at the intersection of 44th Street and Washington Street. Also change some of the wording of the article to provide a more accurate representation of the highway. Cascadia 20:19, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
Has this actually been transferred to the city?
editThe only reference provided shows that it was removed from the regional transportation plan, not the state highway system. Is there a reference for the latter? I was not able to find any. --NE2 11:42, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- Looks like it has, I found this [1]. --Holderca1 talk 02:47, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- Looks good; thank you. --NE2 19:14, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
Confusion
edithttp://www.rockymountainroads.com/az-153.html
"In 2007, the City of Phoenix released their updated Peoplemover plans. One of the elements of the Peoplemover plan is to convert Arizona 153 back to a city street, and run the Peoplemover along the route. Pending completion of a Sky Harbor Access plan by the City of Phoenix, Arizona DOT has ceased all planning on Arizona 153.
In August 2007, ADOT removed Arizona 153 from the State Highway system. Signs remain in the field as of March 2008."
The above was cited by AARoads through one of its members attending an I-10 planning meeting and having a private conversation with somebody. Is that considered a reliable source or not?
If anybody disagrees, feel free to undo my changes.

- It's not; see Wikipedia:reliable sources. --NE2 22:39, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
