I have cut this section from the article - it is not appropriate material for an encyclopedia.

Recommendations for Parents 1. The school earnestly solicits and indeed requires the maximum co-operation of parents on daily basis. Their constant interest in the progress of their child will be greatly appreciated. Therefore, parents should make it a point to attend functions organised by the school for them. Parents are informed that occasional reports from the teachers or administrators are to be countersigned as proof that they have read them and must understand that failure or refusal to do so may put the child to great inconvenience.

2. Students should put in two hours of private work at home in order to finish their home tasks and prepare their lessons. The home tasks must be done very neatly and completely each day.

3. Private tuitions are not encouraged; students are not permitted to take tuitions from the teachers of this school without the approval of the Principal. Anybody found violating this rule will have to leave the school.

4. When communicating with the School Authorities, the parents are requested to mention in their letters the full name, class, section and Admission number of their child.

5. Parents, guardians and other persons should not visit the classes or interview the teachers, except after obtaining the approval of the Principal.

6. Parents or guardians are especially requested to notify the school of any change in their address/ telephone no. in writing.

7. A child who is ill should not be sent to school to attend class or take the tests. Cases of illness are settled on the basis of the term’s work in consultation with the teacher(s) concerned and the previous record.

8. Should you feel that your child / ward does not make the desired progress, the Principal should be contacted. If there be need for help, arrange for remedial classes in consultation with the Principal.

9. Criticism of a teacher and the school in the presence of the students should be scrupulously avoided, because it causes the child to lose respect for the teacher, with the consequent failure to learn from him / her. Should you have any legitimate complaint, see the Principal, without fear of reprisal.

10. As children advance in age, guide them to become resourceful members of home and country. Encourage self-help for work and study. Inculcate in them the idea of the dignity of work, a fundamental personal virtue necessary for successful career in life.

11. Withdrawal of your child from classes for mere social functions is not recommended because it retards the child’s progress in school and minimises respect for regular work with consequent failure to progress in studies.

12. Any student who is persistently insubordinate, or is repeatedly or wilfully mischievous, or is guilty of malpractice in connection with examinations, or commits an act of serious indiscipline, and/ or misbehaviour, or who in the opinion of the Head of the school, has an unwholesome influence on his/her fellow students or, whose guardians show little interest in the progress of their wards, may be removed from the school permanently, or for a specified period according to the discretion of the Principal. 13. In case of any dispute the decision of the management will be FINAL AND BINDING.
