Noting I'm former US Navy, this is a time to ignore inter-service rivalry. That these things occurred at the nation's premier national military cemetery is appallling. But bravo to the US Army for taking firm action hereRlevseTalk 12:28, 11 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Gina Gray

edit

Although the press hasn't made a clear link to it yet, I believe the whistleblower case involving Gina Gray about media access was one of the key events which drew the greater scrutiny to the cemetery, resulting in this investigation. If that turnes out to be the case, then the Gina Gray allegations probably would need to be included in the Background section. Cla68 (talk) 23:58, 13 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • Cla68, see the second paragraph in the "Controversy" section, the second, third, and fourth sentences. I figured I'd leave this alone until the final report came out. Innocent until proven guilty and all that. But, since the allegations (and Higginbotham's alleged lies about accessing her files) were part of the reason for his dismissal, it should be included now (I reasoned), but in a form that emphasized Higginbotham's dissembling and not the Gina Gray media aspect of it. I agree with you, though: Once there is more of a link, the Gina Gray stuff should come over and be built up here. - Tim1965 (talk) 23:54, 15 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
