Notability

- The Armada Centre is big enough to be noteworthy. I have seen it. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 16:05, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
"In 1996, a planning company based in Reading submitted an application to transform the Armada Centre into a new leisure centre, which would contain a 15-screen multiplex cinema, nightclub and bingo hall.[1]"Italic text
This is untrue and a check at the planning registers of the Plymouth City Council will confirm this. Indeed the source cited contains no such quote. (I deleted the "unpopular" as it was potentially libelous)
- "The Reading-based Barton Willmore Partnership has submitted an innovative application to redevelop Plymouth's ailing Armada Shopping Centre for leisure purposes. The proposed centre would contain a 15-screen multiplex cinema, bingo hall and nightclub". Find it on Google Books. Moswento talky 09:19, 13 March 2014 (UTC)
