This article seems to contradict itself a couple of times.
"Canis armbrusteri is the oldest member of lupus" followed by "larger and heavier than its older and longer living cousin, Canis lupus."
"Canis armbrusteri did give rise to C. dirus (Dire Wolf)" followed by "Armbruster's Wolf is considered a sister species of the Dire Wolf"
Also, how could C. ambrusteri be a member of a different species, C. lupus? Brem1964 (talk) 07:11, 6 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
