Merge with Armenian dram article?

edit

I'm not sure if this topic is large enough for a separate article. It would be a better fit as a topic within the existing article Armenian dram, and a sample of the symbol would also be good. Chuckiesdad/Talk/Contribs 22:20, 4 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

This is a separate issue

edit

As it is clear from the content, the information is an additional to Armenian Dram matter, which fit in a separate research and a lecture. However, the important linkage is provided. In regard to upload as far as I can see the upload of graphical stuff would be permitted in a few days. You are welcome to get back to the article again.Nrahehinak (talk) 09:16, 5 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Whoops, no Unicode.

Looks like I have a bit of work to do. -- Evertype· 14:04, 3 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

This is one of the recent variations (2011)  . (Earlier talk here) -DePiep (talk) 09:53, 6 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

There is a number of font styles with the Armenian dram sign, which won the international competitions since 2008 and have been accepted for the official usage. 10:02, 6 August 2011 Nrahehinak

I like the illustration that is now on top of the page. What would you like to change further? The style of the graphic?
Please remember, it is not in Unicode now, So there are no letterfonts that show the sign. That is why we have created the template{{Armenian dram}}. It shows:  . That can be used in text: "I payed   500."
Any questions? -DePiep (talk) 18:49, 6 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
It is inspiring, that you like the illustration! On the other hand, the sign variations (by Aaditya 7), which do not replicate the official shape, caused a number incorrect reproductions in the local websites, publications and TV advertisement. Even if a free design, it should reflect the official shape and shouldn't be misleading. There are "Grapalat" and "Mariam" fontstyle, which are mandatory for the local official institutions. Take pls actions, thanks.Nrahehinak (talk) 10:37, 2 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Btw, I absoulutely agree with the position of the sign before a number; I prove this in my seminars.Nrahehinak (talk) 10:37, 2 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
