Article out of date
editArticle needs a re-write, both reads like a journal and a promotional piece for the Russian military as things stand with latest developments. This should be respected by the mods, they need to realise that the article was written in quite an idiosyncratic way, so isn't bad to literally delete bits. This is my warning, I'm going to use it to revert mod edits from now on if I make any, mods you've been warned: stop tinkering, we don't believe you've read the articles, I actually spend hours reading articles then you spend 2 minutes reverting it meaning you couldn't possibly have read it. FYI I've posted on here for about 20 years now, not new. Also FYI a lot of this stuff is sanctioned entities so I would suggest you follow the rules.148.252.146.215 (talk) 01:13, 24 February 2024 (UTC)

I just came here to say that it would be great if this had a history section, not just for the soviet union but for the russian empire as well190.103.43.94 (talk) 02:52, 16 October 2023 (UTC)

Grammar is appalling
editNeeds an editor to read through this page. There are so many grammatical errors that it discredits the entire article.

Name?
editI think that given the Russo–Ukrainian War which is started by Russia we should just change name of article to Arms industry of Russia because word "defense industry" is actually euphemism for arms industry and Wikipedia is against using it. – ArtisticHokioi
