Can someone tell me why the additional info on some of the specifics that occurred during 1993, were deleted despite being properly cited and everything? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.145.167.65 (talk) 00:05, 8 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

So I guess someone just felt like deleting this shit cause it offended their sensibilities or something? What's the matter, didn't like the fact that detailed, properly cited, properly quoted information made the Bosnian Army look better than you guys want it too? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.145.167.65 (talk) 22:07, 21 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Armija BiH.svg

edit

Image:Armija BiH.svg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

propaganda

edit

Who does it feel now, Muslims, to have only the Croat side of the story published? That's exactly how I felt when you put your crazy propaganda. What territories did Croats want??? So called Bosnian government didn't control a single square meter of Croat-populated territory. It is obvious that the Croats were attaceked beacuse they controlled the territory THEY SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDED form the Serb rebels. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.172.40.182 (talk) 22:34, 5 August 2008 (UTC) Like the the truth about Croat Army mass murder of Muslims in Mostar, Orund Bihac, Prozor, Admici, Bugojno, Zenica etc.. Should I continue... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.125.203.169 (talk) 20:01, 28 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Was that you that erased those things I put in 1993? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.145.167.65 (talk) 08:30, 29 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Patch of ARBIH

edit

I have the Patch of the Bosnian army which was also used in flags, parades and for combat purposes however I don’t know how to put it because of the complicated code that exists. Is there a way to solve this issue. The patch is digitally made and perfect for Wikipedia. Contact if possible to solve this problem ASAP. DennisBIH (talk) 14:25, 12 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Army of the Republic of Bosnia and HerzegovinaArmy of Bosnia and HerzegovinaWP:CONCISEIllegitimate Barrister (talkcontribs), 18:05, 30 October 2023 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). Polyamorph (talk) 10:41, 2 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose. As I noted in the RM/TR discussion, there is no way this move makes sense. Bosnia and Herzegovina is a current extant country, and the term Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina very clearly refers to the armed forces of that country, in the same way that Army of XXXX would for any other country in the world. i.e. it should redirect to the page currently redirected to at Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Whether it's called an army or "ground forces" or whatever doesn't affect that basic reality, it's a WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT. The subject of this page, a short-lived army existing only in the 1990s, does not exceed that primary redirect in either common usage or long-term significance. It's arguable that even the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina title should redirect to the present-day armed forces, so you could consider moving this to Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (1992–1995) or similar, but not certain that's strictly necessary.  — Amakuru (talk) 11:31, 2 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Strong oppose This is my country and when people use what is the current title it always refers to what is now a defunct military, not the extant Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I oppose @Amakuru's proposal as well. Killuminator (talk) 20:13, 2 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
