Cassarole?

Is it really a cassarole? In source, when you overdrive the microwave, a small shrimp hand comes out of the bowl. Can this be that in Source that they changed it from a cassarole to a shrimp? --RobertLeBlais 19:46, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

In the original HL when I played it you could see a pot rotating inside the microwave and if you pressed the button enough times some gib would spawn. Could have been anything in the pot but as it turns out it was a casserole. I haven't played HL:Source though so I don't know how the scene was depicted in that. --Meridius 23:06, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

"A Kleiner model" in HL1

The article said that Magnusson's character was 'A Kleiner model'. In fact, both Kleiner and Magnusson were 'Walter' models, and I changed this appropriately. I'm very troubled. He's so similar with the Belgian politician José Happart!! Were they inspired by his face? I really wonder!!

Norwegian/Swedish

"Arne Magnusson" is a typical name in Norway and Sweden. Like, very typical, it's nearly a joke. Anyone know why they made him Scandinavian? Could it be a stab at anyone in the gaming community? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jens Schriver (talk • contribs) 01:11, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Don't know why that particular name, but the fact that Magnusson is the total opposite to Kleiner may have had something to do with it. "Magnus" is Latin for large or great, and "Klein" is German for small. Coincidence? I think not! (Well OK, maybe :) Deszmond (talk) 03:11, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Swedish-American

removed the swedsh-american cat. as there are no references for this, even though both arne and magnusson are common swedish names. magnusson is a also a typical icelandic name, and it may be spelled that way for english-speaking people as the icelandic form of arne is arni.
