I know that according to the liner notes, the only tracks performed solely by Prince are "Condition of the Heart" and "Tamborine", but did The Revolution (Bobby Z., Brown Mark, Wendy Melvoin, Lisa Coleman and Matt Fink) actually play on more songs than reflected in the credits or are "America", "The Ladder" and "Pop Life" the only songs to be full band performances on the released version?
None of the other track credits mention that Prince recorded the instrumentation by himself nor do they say that they are full band performances, so there is a possibility that the full band played on all the songs except the first two I just mentioned - like I said, it's just my guess, so it may not be correct.61.69.217.3 (talk) 10:23, 23 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

So, I'm gonna go ahead and change the writing credits, the songs are listed as being written by 'Prince And The Revolution' with a source that goes to the Prince Vault website. On that website, it says the songs are CREDITED to Prince And The Revolution but were actually, in fact, written by Prince alone. I don't know if someone just spectacularly failed at reading the website or what but I figure I'd change them so that they are correct and actually match what the source website says. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C5:B90E:2601:A138:5689:5284:1208 (talk) 17:46, 26 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
