editI noticed that the entire 'biography' section of this wiki article seems to be a duplicate of Mr. Iftikhar's bio page on his personal website. This causes me to wonder if there are appropriate external citations for this article, and also if there are some borderline "peacock terms".
For example, "[Mr. Iftikhar's work has] regularly appeared in virtually every major media outlet in the world[...]"; and mentioning "the likes of Nobel Peace Prize winner Archbishop Desmond Tutu and former United States President Bill Clinton." Further, the note about Mr. Iftikhar's appearance as a Hollywood movie extra borders on the trivia section.
Let's see some discussion on this, especially since Mr. Iftikhar is doing some outstanding work. We need more people like him that can bridge the gap between people in the world - whether this gap is culture, religion, hemispheric, and so on.
Mr. Iftikhar's previous employment at CAIR is a simple, relevant, verifiable, neutral matter of fact, and should not have been deleted.

Removal of biographical content mentioning Arsalan Iftikhar's divorce and remarriage
editThe mention of Iftikhar's divorce and remarriage is continually being removed by an anonymous IP. I don't want to approach edit warring, of course, but this part of his bio is public knowledge. Obviously the anon IP thinks it's irrelevant to Iftikhar's biographical section (or perhaps believes it to be "embarrassing" content? I'm not sure). Does anyone have any thoughts on matters like this? Thanks. FrostySnows (talk) 03:58, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
