Contested deletion

Arteezy is one of the most popular people in the Dota 2 community. His twitch stream regularly reaches 30,000 people. He is one of the top earning esports professionals.
- @Largoplazo: Although he definitely is notable, I will not remove the speedy deletion tag because I am a fan of the game. He is notable, and I hope to improve it a bit. Pinging User:Prisencolin for help in clean-up and comments. Dat GuyTalkContribs 15:21, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
- I'm looking through search results for Arteezy and really finding nothing that looks like it would help meet any of the general notability guidelines or the guidelines for people. Can you identify any? They need to be independent reliable sources with substantial coverage of him. —Largo Plazo (talk) 16:11, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
- @Largoplazo: Looking for reliable sources. Here is an example. TheScore. Even though the entire article is not specifically about him, half of it is. Dat GuyTalkContribs 16:16, 26 January 2016 (UTC)

- 2P.com
- Official forum post (this qualifies, right?)
- ProGamingTours
- Another official forum post from his teammate (Just reception)
- From EG organisation
- GosuGamers
- There are also more specific GosuGamers articles, however these and scores can be found in Evil Geniuses. Dat GuyTalkContribs 16:24, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
- Source 2 isn't independent, and 4 is neither independent nor a reliable source, so neither is helpful for notability. The other sources may qualify, though at the moment I don't have time to look closely. —Largo Plazo (talk) 16:28, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
- search results from The Daily Dot. The person is quite notable as he plays in one of top Dota teams in the world and two of his teammates, Clinton "Fear" Loomis and Syed Sumail Hassan are notable so he can be considered as well under WP:NPERSON.--Prisencolin (talk) 23:11, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
- What provision of WP:NPERSON are you looking at? I don't believe there's anything about everybody who is on a top team in any sport being notable, nor do I see anything that says a person is notable if two of his teammates are. On the contrary, see WP:NOTINHERITED. This is not a comment about Daily Dot, but about your subsequent remarks. —Largo Plazo (talk) 00:44, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
"The person has received a well-known and significant award or honor, or has been nominated for one several times." being one of the best dota players of the last few years meets this, considering many tournaments and teams are notable--Prisencolin (talk) 01:45, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
- The article doesn't say that he has won any significant awards or honors or that he has been nominated for one several times. —Largo Plazo (talk) 08:48, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
