How about some more information about the style, when this person lived, and so on?

Also, full sentences are good.

I have reverted the article to a rather old version, in order to get rid of the content of two articles from other publications that were added to the article. In both cases, the editor claims to have permission, but the permission is not documented. If you wish to use text from other sources in such a way, please follow the procedures at Wikipedia:Copyright problems to document the permission. --Alvestrand 11:34, 1 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

General Notability

edit

The header of this page questions whether the topic (Arthur Baker) meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline. As a typography and type design specialist, I can confirm that, among American calligraphers who have also made a name as type designers, Mr. Baker is one the most respected and influential. Online sources are scarce compared to printed ones, but I'll try to add some. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jandorp (talkcontribs) 13:54, 6 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
