James or Jones?
editThe info-box says he was also known as Elmer Jones, but the article text gives the name as Elmer James. Huh? Joe Hepperle (talk) 04:41, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
Possible copyright problem
editThis article has been revised as part of a large-scale clean-up project of multiple article copyright infringement. (See the investigation subpage) Earlier text must not be restored, unless it can be verified to be free of infringement. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions must be deleted. Royalties
editOne source claims that Crudup "launched a law suit against Elvis Presley's music publisher but died before the case was settled. After his death his children received a check for $60,000 in back royalties. These payments continue to this day."
