Edits
editOK, if you're not interested in removing WP:OFFTOPIC, unreferenced personal analysis, or splitting the article into a reasonable size, then I'll get to work on it. Lone boatman (talk) 07:58, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- I've removed the entire section "Origins of the Christ Myth thesis: from Hegel, Feuerbach, Bauer, and Marx to Drews". I had intended to merge it to Christ myth theory#History of the concept, but what's there is more succinct, strays off the topic less, and is better referenced. Lone boatman (talk) 08:05, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- I've split off the sections "The Christ Myth (1909)" and "Christ Myth II - the witnesses to the historicity of Jesus (1912)" to a new article, The Christ Myth. I've made few edits to the content, apart from toning down the POV wording of a few section headings, so more work will be needed on that newly split-off article. Lone boatman (talk) 08:20, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- I've moved over "Violent negative reactions to the Christ Myth" to The Christ Myth#Reception. Lone boatman (talk) 08:27, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- I've moved "International influence of Drews's Christ Myth" over to The Christ Myth#Reception. Lone boatman (talk) 08:54, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- I've split "The Denial of the Historicity of Jesus in Past and Present (1926)" to the new article The Denial of the Historicity of Jesus in Past and Present. Lone boatman (talk) 09:56, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- I've moved "International influence of Drews's Christ Myth" over to The Christ Myth#Reception. Lone boatman (talk) 08:54, 24 August 2012 (UTC)

Guild copyedit
editHi there, I'm with the Guild and recently did a copyedit to this entire article. I wanted to make it known that while the edit was completed, the prose still needs attention from someone familiar with Drews and the source material. Some of the sentences are rather confusing to an uninitiated reader. Thanks! — Mr. V (t – c) 08:24, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
