I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Thanks for this article! Looks like a very notable subject for an article and all I needed to do was change a few things. I've moved the article: on the English-language Wikipedia it's standard for articles to be titled by first name then surname: there's a template called DEFAULTSORT so they appear in surname order in categories. So I've added it moved the article. Taking the text from the DNB is completely fine to fill out the entry, but so people understand where the text came from I've added a template which adds a message explaining this (these exist for a lot of common out-of-copyright reference works). As one of his books has been digitised I've linked to it on the Internet Archive. And added a few categories. Hope this all makes sense!.
