Famous Cryptographers

edit

Arthur Levenson is an interesting behind the scenes player in US military, intelligence and cryptography events. Obviously he was pretty low-key during his lifetime. It might be a good topic for a book. Botendaddy is also an LTC in the Army and I often think of my overseas experience as boring (mostly) but I wonder if the exciting moments of the life of a character like Arthur Levenson might be good fodder for a story. I don't know, I'm a critic not a writer.

I am starting to look at doing some more Cryptographer Pages. I suppose I should get involved with one of the projects if I want to be a good and loyal Wikipedia Editor. Botendaddy (talk) 01:47, 7 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

MLHIST Assessment

Start; needs more work on the Lead, based on current wording, its hard to work out why he is worthy of an article ie specific contributions? Better Sources. Robinvp11 (talk) 12:38, 24 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

He is not just notable for Military History, (Bletchley Park) and support of D-Day, but in the history of Cryptography, Computer Science and the NSA. It was intended originally as an article about a noted cryptographer, not Military History. Botendaddy 03:55, 8 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
